Artist, photographer, photo editor, art-director
In her practice, Yulia Vorobyova explores the everyday life of contemporary society through the genre of still life; her medium is digital photography. Her artistic language is formed through working with liminal states and engaging with the complexity and ambiguity of everyday processes. Her interests intersect visual, social, economic, ethical, and environmental contexts.
In 2025, she held a solo exhibition at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. Her works have also been presented in group exhibitions and recognized in photography competitions.
Yulia Vorobyova is an artist with a background in mass and visual communications. In 2010, she completed her studies in Fashion Design in Nizhny Novgorod, then moved to Moscow to study at the School of Contemporary Art “Svobodnye Masterskie” at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art. In 2017, she earned a master’s degree at the A.N. Kosygin Russian State University, exploring the visual language of fashion photography. She has collaborated as a photographer with emerging fashion and accessory designers, as well as online publications; her publication design for media has been awarded first place in the "Apostol" Prize and the "Runet Rating" competition.
